UNWINDER

In some ultrasonic welding applications, for example with parts to be welded that must be very aesthetic, with finishing polished surface where any kind of marks has to be put on evidence, the action of the sonotrode can affect these aspects.
To avoid this, SIRIUS ELECTRIC has developed a special equipment called UNWINDER. It is an accessory that can be installed on the ultrasonic welders of other brands also. The unwinder is composed of two separate groups. The left unwinder group, allows you to place a coil of PE film. This material, available in different thicknesses and widths, is able to protect the contact piece/sonotrode surface, letting the ultrasonic vibration needed to weld the parts. On this group is also positioned a mechanical device that keeps the film at the right voltage.
The right unwinder group has the task of dragging the film and rewind it for reuse. The operation is pneumatic and the adjustment of cylinder stroke, determines the length of the film that will be unwinded and used to protect the parts to joint. The amount of film unwinded , is always the same  thanks to a special drive mechanism.
