SOUNDPROOFING BOOTH
As a general rule, the ultrasound welding process generates much noise. The Italian laws no. 277/91 and no. 626/96 (on workplace safety) require that the noise threshold level of industrial equipment be lower to 80dB.The soundproofing booth abates the process noise and fits all ultrasound welding machines built by Sirius Electric. The booth has a structure made up of anodised aluminium and melamine resin panels lined with a soundproofing, Class 1 (UL94) flame-retardant layer of expanded polyester resin.Three doors with handle and safety lock ensure the access to the internal chamber. The front door has a transparent sliding panel of large
size (800 x 400 mm) controlled by a pneumatic cylinder. The front side accommodates the control panel.The soundproofing booth is available in two models:

• bench-type
• with pedestal

The pedestal includes an aluminium support plate with a thickness of 15 mm complete with adjustable feet.

Sirius Electric is able to manufacture special soundproofing booths on specific customer's requests. In fact in some cases, there are welders and special equipments that need safety devices as they not complying with the regulation in force. In these cases, the cabin is designed and built trying to find the best solution to solve this specific problem.
All our cabins are equipped with side doors for easy access in the working area in case of special maintenance.
