There are various applications of ultrasonics within this field. The assembly have to reach a high degree of mechanical tightness, and, for some applications, a good level of esthetical finish.

APPLICATIONS EXAMPLES: Welding of wall-sockets, plugs and pins, spools and relays, casings of transformers, lamp bodies, transparent covers for displays, ceiling lamps, gratings for speakers, temperature controllers and switches.
